About Us

We are three sisters - Alayne, Nettie and Lucy who have been involved in the business for 35, 25 and 20 years respectively, so you could say we live and breath the Arts & Crafts! We have a dedicated team of staff, some of whom have been with us for almost as long. As well as providing Art & Craft materials to the people of Kent and beyond, we aim to inspire and encourage everyone from the keen amateur to the professional. We do this by way of our Workshop programme that is run on Saturdays, instore demonstrations and taster sessions, as well as big events such as our Art & Craft Expo in Rochester or at the Kent Show. We look forward to seeing you in store soon!

“Artworks” is a store within a store that specialises in art materials and equipment for proffesional and amateur artists. Apart from giving excellent advice and service, they run workshops presented by proffesional artists.

Craftworks

“Craftworks” is a store within a store that provides a very full range of craft materials for stitchers, knitters and crafters backed by experienced staff who are all active in one craft or another.

This is a very proactive shop which offers workshops run by experts. Craftworks also attends craft fairs. See our Events Diary
